Christmas at Whitewell 2021

We are really looking forward to Christmas at Whitewell this year.

It’s the month of December, and with Christmas almost upon us here is what’s happening at Whitewell this Christmas time.

Carol Service - Sunday 19th December 6:45pm
Join us for our annual carol service. We’ve items from guest singer Alex Robb, some special recorded items from the children in Weewellers, we’re also planning that the Tabernacle choir will be singing, and of course, there will be plenty of carols led by our worship bands. The speaker will be Pastor David Purse.  As always we’ll keep everyone socially distanced so seats are limited.

Christmas Eve  24th December 6:30pm
We want to keep Jesus as the centre of our Christmas period, and so we’re meeting for a service on Christmas eve. It has an early start time of 6:30pm, and should be finished around 7:30pm. Pastor Nigel Begley will be bringing the message and as we did last year, some of our children will be reading passages from the Christmas narrative.

Christmas Morning 10:00am (Online only)
There’s a lovely online broadcast planned for Christmas morning, so be part of the online-only service. It will include a special message from Pastor David, and some comments from all our Pastors.

Boxing Day (Sunday) 11:00am.
It’s the Lord’s day and so we’ll meet as always to break bread and worship together. Pastor David is the speaker and there will be a Christmas thread running throughout the service.

Boxing Night (Sunday) 6:45pm
It’s the well taking our Boxing Night service. Pastor Stephen will be bringing a Christmas message and the Well Band will be leading the worship. We’re aiming to keep the service to one hour. We’re asking you to come out, and more than that, but to bring someone with you as we reach out with the Gospel message.

Monday Night 27th December
There’s no prayer meeting, either in the building or online.

Wednesday Night 29th December 8:00pm
We’re meeting in the building to pray together. There’s no online service that night.

Friday Night 31st December 10:30pm
On New Year's Eve we always have a watchnight service, and there are already some lovely video testimonies that we’re going to include in our service that night. Here’s an opportunity to start a new year in God’s presence and with God’s people. We’ll have more details on the service in a few weeks.

Finally, a reminder that all of our services are also available online. So if you can be here in person – we’re encouraging you to come out and be part of our worship together. For the many who can’t be there in person, please do join us online. We appreciate you all. It’s the month of December, and with Christmas almost upon us here is what’s happening at Whitewell this Christmas time.
