The Reformation Course
The Reformation was the greatest move of God since the Day of Pentecost. For centuries, much of Europe lay in deep spiritual darkness. Then came the dawn:
Post Tenebras Lux — “After Darkness, Light.” God’s Word, for the first time in many centuries, shone brightly once again.
“The entrance of Thy words giveth light.” Psalm 119:130
Across Europe, ordinary people began to hear and read the Word of God for themselves. The great truths and doctrines of the Christian faith were rediscovered. Spiritually speaking, millions began to breathe again. The gospel was preached with power. Churches were filled. Multitudes were saved. Europe — and eventually much of the world — was never the same again. This is their story. This is the story of The Reformation.
Who were the key figures in this remarkable movement?
What contributions did they make?
What were the defining events that shaped this extraordinary period in Church history?
And while these events took place over 500 years ago, do they still speak to the modern Church and to believers today? We believe they do.
